"I started to see Dr. Helms when I was about 8 weeks into my second pregnancy (with twins). With my first pregnancy I experienced upper and lower back pain and it became worse when I got closer to my due date. At the start of this pregnancy I started to feel some discomfort, and with the approval of my O.B., decided to see Dr. Helms right away. I did not want to go to a doctor that would prescribe medication for the back pain, because I did not want to be taking any kind of medication during my pregnancy.
